Nonprofits and community organizations hire independent creatives for paid work through RiseWorks, and we are building out the Bay Area roster now.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Shooters first — videographers and photographers who run their own kit and can tell a story on location, solo or with a small team. Also video editors, and creatives who cover audio, motion graphics, or drone work. Big-set credits are not the point here. Independent creatives, one-person bands, and small production companies are exactly the fit.

RATE
Set per project by the hiring organization — day rates for shoots, project rates for post. Joining is free. RiseWorks charges creatives no fees and takes no commission on what you are paid.

LOCATION
Bay Area for on-location shoots. Editors and post creatives can work remotely from anywhere.

TIMELINE
Ongoing. Profiles are reviewed as they arrive, usually within a few days.

HOW TO APPLY
Build a profile at the link below. It takes about ten minutes and covers your disciplines, your home base, how far you travel, and your work samples. A person reads every profile. Approved creatives appear in the directory, where organizations browse by discipline and location and contact you directly.

WHERE WE ARE
RiseWorks is early, and you should know that before you join. The platform is live and the first organizations are onboarding. Gig volume grows metro by metro as we launch. Creatives who join now are the first ones organizations see.
