Morgan Morel is an audiovisual preservationist who has worked to preserve audio and video materials for libraries, archives, artists, and communities across the globe. He is a strong supporter of open-source solutions for audiovisual preservation, and has created educational resources to help under-resourced communities preserve their audiovisual heritage. He currently lives in Culpeper, VA, and has previously taught classes and preserved media in Detroit, Philadelphia, and the San Francisco Bay Area.
