PROJECT: Womb Envy
Narrative short film (15-20 min). On the eve of a life-risking womb transplant, a trans woman wrestles with her past, her complicated relationship with her mother, and the impossible hope of becoming a mother herself.

DIRECTOR: Song Hà – Netflix Trans Film Center Fellow, Queer Art Mentorship alum (mentor: Tourmaline), writer published in Elle/Esquire/Teen Vogue

RATE: $2,000 flat (includes all prep, shoot days)

TIMELINE:

Tech scout: Feb 21-22, 2026 (in-person Bay Area)

Shoot: window of Feb 23-26, 2026 (4 days)
