The program covers everything from camera operation and shot composition to pre-production and client communication. Fellows will also receive training in editing workflows, including organization, assembly, rough cut, fine cut, color correction, and audio mixing, using non-linear editing software (NLE), including multicam editing techniques. By the end of the program, fellows will have a solid foundation in professional skills, career readiness, and video production techniques that will enable them to succeed in event videography.

In addition to technical skills, Bridges Live! emphasizes the development of soft skills, such as teamwork, communication, and professionalism. Fellows will work collaboratively on a range of projects, including event highlight reels, promotional videos, and client work. They will also have opportunities to receive constructive feedback from instructors and build a professional portfolio that showcases their skills and accomplishments.

Bridges Live! is an immersive, hands-on program that provides transitional-age youth with the tools and support they need to enter and succeed in the media industry. It is an ideal opportunity for recent high school graduates, community college students, full-time workers, and recent four-year college graduates who lack the necessary skills and experience to secure employment.
