We call the small area off the lobby at BAVC Media “the Conference Room.” It seems like an odd name for the space because, when I think of a conference room, I think of dark walls and people in suits. BAVC Media Opens Applications for 2017 National MediaMaker Fellowship
San Francisco, CA – Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC Media) is now accepting applications for its NationalMediaMaker Fellowship. The Fellowship offers ten months of in-kind support and mentorship for emerging, underrepresented voices in nonfiction media-making from across the country. Applications must be received by January 27, 2017 to be considered. [San Francisco]—National Endowment for the Arts Chairman Jane Chu has approved more than $30 million in grants as part of the NEA’s first major funding announcement for fiscal year 2017.
