I recall my relationship with Bay Area Video Coalition beginning in 1982 when I produced Art In The Park.  BAVC Media was one of the exhibiting artists groups who enhanced the event with their presence.  My awareness of BAVC Media’s presence and impact in our communities has remained since that time. Most recently, I was awarded an opportunity to study at BAVC Media and refine my skills through TechSF.  In addition to earning my certificate in Video Post-Production in 2015, I have enriched the ever growing number of relationships I have with with creative and remarkable associates, many of whom I have come to know through multiple TechSF networking opportunities. BAVC Media fosters this fantastic media producing community of people who genuinely care about the stories they tell.  The social benefits and job placement opportunities are as valuable as the knowledge gained in video, web and new media production technologies.  In short, BAVC Media’s varied programs support so many people in our community.
