Salsa La Raza

In 1978 Ron went to New York to learn the NY Latin Hustle to mix it with salsa. Now his dance invention mix is performed all around the salsa universe. Ron runs as many videos as he can that show his teachers from New York teaching him from 1978 to now. Many instructors and choreographers have taken Ron's invention and continue to evolve it to new heights.

About the Show: Ronald Bermudez started Salsa La Raza with Ron Bermudez to help La Raza and salsa communities in 1973. The first program aired in San Francisco on the public access channel that year, and Ron claims it is the longest running public access show in the city to date. The show began as a benefit featuring music and musicians from Santana, Azteca and Malo. Salsa La Raza with Ron Bermudez features all of Ron's entertainment sources--his band and dance group, the Salsa Angels, founded in 1978 to attract viewers. The show also features the history of the patriotic deeds of La Raza for the United States.
