Event description:
PLEASE NOTE: This early evening class begins at 6pm and ends at 8pm for two consecutive weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays!
The Graphic and Web Design: Fundamentals class provides the perfect introduction to the world of graphic and web design!
This course focuses on the study of graphic design as a communication
tool on an intensive, professional level. Graphic designers use a
variety of print, electronic, and digital media to create designs that
meet their clients' needs. Using software tools such as Adobe
Photoshop, Indesign, Dreamweaver, Flash and Illustrator, graphic
designers develop the overall layout and design of websites, magazines,
newspapers, journals, corporate publications, cd covers, brand logos,
and much more.
The class will consider key topics: conceptual thinking, gathering,
creating, and adapting artwork, visual quality and resolution, dynamic
composition, and the importance of graphic design as an informative and
promotional presence in both industry and society.
Class will focus on digital techniques using the Adobe Creative Suite.
