Frame of Mind Films is an EMMY® Award winning production company currently seeking to fill several unpaid internship positions starting immediately. The responsibilities are across the board, from office administration, sales and distribution, to maintaining our websites, and post production. The interns will assist us in finishing our trilogy of films entitled
Women of Tibet and the further development of our future projects.
This is a phenomenal opportunity for hard-working self-starters to get a crash course in all aspects of documentary film-making. We are committed to providing our interns with an educational experience and this internship is as hands-on and involved as internships get. We are looking for somebody with the intelligence, awareness, and professionalism to complete tasks without needing constant management and the enthusiasm and interest to enjoy the process of film-making. Interns should be familiar with Mac OSX, have strong writing skills, and be well-organized. Proficiency in Filemaker Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe InDesign, and/or web design is a plus. We expect all applicants to learn more about our work by visiting our website at
www.womenoftibet.org.
We are a small, close-knit production company and any new additions should have an earnest interest in social issue documentaries, a positive attitude, a readiness to learn and assume responsibility and a good sense of humor. Interns will ideally work at least two days per week for the next three months or more at our office in Albany. Frame of Mind Films will pay for lunches and gas used while on errands. College credit can be arranged if your situation allows. Some interns have gone on to find paid employment with Frame of Mind Films.
