Gus D’Angelo is an award-winning animator, interactive producer and illustrator. His artwork has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Forbes, The San Francisco Chronicle, SFGate.com. shockwave.com and at animation festivals internationally.
Prior to becoming Director of Photography at Transvideo Studios in
Mountain View, Ben was a freelance shooter based in San Francisco since
1996. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications (Media
emphasis).
Liz Hickok is a San Francisco-based artist working in photography,
video, sculpture, installation, and currently, Jell-O. Hickok received
her Masters in Fine Arts from Mills College in Oakland, California.

Sade Huron is an award winning Media Artist, originating from South
Wales in the United Kingdom. Her work encompasses single channel and
video installation, performance art, cabaret and photography. In May
2000 she graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute with a Masters
of Fine Art. Huron's work has been exhibited, screened and performed
Daniel is an Adobe Certified Instructor in Photoshop, Illustrator, and
Flash. He is a digital illustrator with traditional training and creates
artwork for a Sonoma county design firm, as well as
Jarid Johnson holds a degree in Broadcast Communication Arts from San
Francisco State University. He has worked in media production since
1974, including previous studies and careers in photography, technical
Ryan Kleeman is a Bay area Recording Engineer, Sound Designer, and
Sound Reinforcement Mixing Engineer. Ryan currently freelances for
American Conservatory Theatre, as well as for TheatreWorks. Ryan also
works as a recording, mix, and mastering Engineer at Sound Arts studios

George Mauro has been in the multimedia/television biz for over 25 years,
primarily as an editor/director. George has cut and/or directed
countless industrial training videos, PM Magazine shows, news, TV
commercials, etc. By trade and training George is a CMX editor who
jumped on the non-linear bandwagon in late 80's to ride the high tech
wave into the
Marilyn McNeal is a San Francisco-based artist and digital
media instructor who uses photography, sound / web design and mixed media to explore
everyday experience and develop experimental ways of storytelling. Her
works reflect her interest in community organizing and education, the culture
of resistance and ethnic pride,
Ken Merrylees has been working in the television/postproduction
industry for over 25 years. He started his career with TVOne in his
native New Zealand, followed by five years in London with
Visnews/Reuters, a film and video news agency. In the Bay Area since
1981, he was chief engineer at On Tape Productions. His company KAE is
involved with systems integration,
Morgan was raised in East Hampton,New York by two artists who moved to
the area before it was a mecca for the rich and famous, but was instead
an underground destination for the arts and counterculture. Morgan's
Grandfather, a prominent television writer lived in New York City and
in East Hampton and was an active figure . . .
Jonathan Parra is an Avid Certified Instructor for Adrenaline, Advanced Editing
Techniques, Color Correction, and Avid Xpress DV/Xpress Pro. Jonathan
has worked on numerous editing projects including feature and
short-format documentaries and narratives, corporate videos, and
commercials. Some of Jonathan’s career highlights include Jerald
Linda Peckham is a freelance documentary film editor in the Bay Area.
Since 1991 she has cut programming for broadcast, most recently as the
series editor of Spark and Quest, the award winning weekly shows on KQED. She was also the editor of the national PBS series Livelyhood, about work and the global economy.
Ross Reyman is a freelance web developer/graphic designer, specializing

Lise Swenson, filmmaker, artist and educator, has been deeply involved
with media arts in the Bay Area since the early 1980s. As a media
artist she creates documentaries, experimental documentaries, feature
length fiction
Chris Tipton-King is a Bay Area filmmaker and Apple-Certified Trainer. He works in both production & post, specializing in cinematography and editing. His most recent work, color grading on the local indie feature The Stranger In Us, premiered at a sold out screening during the Frameline 2010 film festival. Other recent works include directing the award winning short films Boys & Girls and Drowning In It.
Carl Weichert is the staff Avid editor and motion graphics artist at
BAVC. He's worked in many genres, including documentary, industrial,
commercial and narrative. Most recently, he edited La Mina, a
five-screen installation
Tommi West is a web designer, filmmaker and graphic artist living in
San Francisco. She studied acting and directing at the American
Conservatory Theatre. Tommi became interested in filmmaking
while
working in the telecine
Christopher Willits is a musician, video artist and expert sound
instructor based in San Francisco. Especially well-known for his
groundbreaking music, Christopher manages to defy genre distinctions
while still defining a "sound" of his own. His numerous solo releases

I attended Photoshop I with Liz Hickok this past weekend. Her
