BUMP Records
BUMP (Bay Unity Music Project) is a free program that gives young musical artists (ages 14-24) the opportunity to develop real-world skills at a recording studio and media production facility. Participants accepted into the program develop their own high quality music projects under the guidance of professional staff. Individual creative studio time is balanced with structured group workshops where participants receive instruction in digital audio production, web and graphic design, and basic marketing/online promotion. Throughout the 8-month program (October-May) participants develop skills and collateral to help establish themselves as self-reliant independent media producers. In the summer, graduates are eligible to participate in further professional development experiences, such as paid internships.

Aspiring artists are encouraged to apply for the program during our application acceptance times from August-September.
